Our master-slave-system consists of two force-feedback devices each with one degree of freedom for sensitive simulating forces and torques. In addition to the motors - optimized for haptic applications- and high-precision position sensor a torque sensor can optionally be attached to the output.
Our master-slave-system was developed as a tool for applications in control technology, in psychology and in information technology. It is particularly in the areas of haptic analyses, teleoperations and telepresence that complex algorithms and sequences are able to be quite easily set-up and analysed with the help of the easy to use system.
