Gastroscopy via remote-controlled camera capsule - Sensodrive research project completed
Gastroscopy without an endoscopy tube ... together with Ovesco Endoscopy and Fraunhofer IZM, Sensodrive has developed a swallowable endoscope capsule that is moved remotely through the patient's stomach by magnet and transmits its images wirelessly as a livestream. The BMBF-funded research project has now been successfully completed.
