Spin-offs create 1,000 new jobs

The ESA BIC Bavaria spin-off programme, which was founded by the Bavarian government, the ESA and the German Aerospace Center (DLR), has created 1,000 new jobs to date since being launched.
ESA Director General Jean-Jacques Dordain, Bavarian Minister for Economic Affairs Martin Zeil and member of the board of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) Dr. Gerd Gruppe visited the Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO), in order to celebrate the creation of exactly 1,000 jobs and to sign an agreement to extend the ESA BIC Bavaria spin-off programme.
