Drives for the ballbot

Since the development of SensoUnits and SensoJoints, we have been impressing customers worldwide with our torque-controlled actuators.

For one of our latest projects, we are working with the renowned Carnegie Mellon University.
The American research institute has been able to develop a very special robot in recent years. The "ballbot" is mounted on a single ball for locomotion, which gives it a characteristic freedom of movement.
But this high-tech device lacks something significant: arms.

And that's where we come in:
In collaboration with the CMU, we have developed innovative torque-controlled actuators for robotic arms, which are equipped with our promising technologies and developments.

Powerful engines, flawless compatibility – we're pushing perfection to the extreme once again.
